Heated Seats? Burr I've been searching... what's best low $ option

I've been looking at these kits HeatedSeatKits.com - The Future is Warm

Anyone do this job before? Which model fits TJ narrow seats. They look sweet!

Feedback needed as I'm not an upholstery person at all.

I got the above heated seats...very nice set up I use them all year round... if I had to do it all over agian I would have gotten them on day 1. Removing covers & reinstalling them is the hardest part, just makes your fingers sore. Enjoy em

I just noticed in one of the new Jeep (4WD) catalogs that Corbeau (sp?) has a new set of seat heaters for only $99 which seems like a pretty good deal.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

If I ever do heated seats I want them on a switch not a button like all the oones I see, that way leave the switch on the remote start then go out and your seats are already warm

I'm thinking about seat heaters too, it's cold here near San Diego today... it is only 52 degrees, we're in the middle of a cold snap.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

I'm with you on that one, we only have a few weeks of "cold" weather in my part of Texas.

I really want the seat heaters for days like today, there is not a cloud in the sky and the high is 69... but it is currently 48. Too cold to have the top down in the morning but warm enough later in the day. I want heated seats so I can have the top down 75% of the year.

Also, you can get the seat heaters added to any Corbeau seat for $150, so you could pick up a Baja suspension seat with a heater for only $329!

To Veterans past and present, thank you for your service!

How about snow in October? I have thought about them solely for my mom or GF. When the snow hits, I play chauffeur for my mom since she hates the stuff. She loves how hot the Jeep's heat is and how quickly it gets hot, but she would appreciate the warmth on her butt.

50 degrees and you guys are cold? Sheesh.... 50 is either Jeans and Tee Shirt weather, or a light jacket. It was snowing on my way out of class today, and I was wearing a light zip up sweater.

I bought a generic set last year, can't remember where I got them from, but they were around $200 for the pair. They do the backs and bottoms.

They were pretty easy to install. I didn't take the covers all the way off, just stuck the bottom in from the front and the back from the bottom edge. Had to cut 2 hog rings on each of the bottoms and replace them with cable ties.

This may help as well.

It's all what you're used to. I came back June 28th 1970 from a year in a very hot and steamy South East Asian country to what most considered very warm SOCAL weather and I felt like I was cold or freezing for the first couple weeks or month which was in July!

When you have a choice, buy American made.

No doubt that San Diego is no Bangkok (on the heat/humidity scale where you can cook an egg in your crotch) But in Jackson when the temp drops to -25* your seats turn to solid rock and steering wheel feels like your licking a frosty steel beam. (right through the gloves) But enough crying...

Thanks!

*** EDIT ***

I missed this post http://www.ewylie.com/jeep/seatheat.htm as it is very helpful. TY
