Half doors?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?

Getting ready for summer and bought some half doors. not the steel ones just the vinyl ones. However they dont hit the door sensor and its keeps the lights on inside. Is there a clip for this or how can i fix it??
I have an 01 Tj.

yep what ble10 said, in the behind the glovebox fuse box, pull out fuse #4, its the fuse for the door chime/ interior lighting when doors are open fuse. Remove it and they wont be on anymore.

You can still turn the interior lights on from the dash switch if needed!

I also pull the fuse during the summer with running soft top and doors. Just remember that it also kill the chime that lets you know your lights are on....or at least it does on my 05 TJ

Quadratec sells a $10 "Dome Light Switch Clip" to put over the door switch, and an actual "Dome Light Switch" (like a rocker switch) for $30.
http://www.quadratec.com/products/product_search.php?kw=door+switch&submit=Go

But I just pull fuse 4. I can still turn on the dome light with the steering wheel control if I need it.

IMPOSSIBLE JUST TAKES LONGER

The switch would be simple to make for about 5-10 bucks from Radio Shack. I think I will make one this weekend.

My dad has the switch in his LJ. Is nice to not have to worry about finding the fuse again in the winter

I use the spring style clips when I take my doors off. At least I did until the fuse went bad and I didn't bother replacing it.

I pull the switch out on both sides, unplug them and toss them in the center console.

Rokmen TT, Rokmen control arms, Novak NV241 cable shifter, JKS 1.25" BL + 1" MML.

Anybody can take advice if it doesn't interfere with their plan.
