Flush The Heater Core????

Im replacing the radiator and Im wondering if I should take the hoses off the water pump and flush the heater core with a garden hose. I dont wanna mess anything up with the core (core has 113k miles on it) I hear its not fun to replace
The heater works fine with no issues

Heck why not, they build up crud inside so back-flushing it the opposite direction of normal flow is a very good idea. Might prevent your heater core from clogging next winter, not a great thing to happen there in Michigan.

When you have a choice, buy American made.

I'll be replacing a radiator and water pump on a friends Jeep this weekend too and was thinking of flushing the heater. Is it pretty obvious which hose to put the water in to "back flush" it?
