Disconnected Wire (loose wire) Located behind glove compartment!! *HELP*

Hi, Ive recently bought this 2003 tj sport and behind the glove box thereís this wire that seems to be disconnected. The wire looks to run out from the temperature control so Iím wondering where this is supposed to be. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I moved your thread here instead of leaving it in the Help Desk section (where website related questions go).

Right offhand, it doesn't appear to be a factory-installed wire. Try tracing it off to the left to see what and specifically where it's attached to.
