clutch/transmission issue

I have a 1999 jeep wrangler sport. (my son's car) He blew a wheel cylinder so I did a complete rear brake job on both sides. That went well and was successful, however, when test driving first time had some grinding between 3rd and 4th. Then later a little between 1& 2. I brought it home and opened the master cylinder. Plenty of fluid; however, when I took it back out it was worst as if it was never being released from gear. Background...I put in a new clutch around December. All went well but was my first time. The master cylinder and slave are new also. I am concerned that the throw out bearing may be shot or do you think I should try bleeding the master/slave cylinder. I have not had time to check anything yet but thought I would ask your opinions to direct my trouble shooting. Thanks for any guidance you can provide.

Do I get the impression that when you replaced the clutch that you re-used the old release bearing??

Try using red line fluid-- it makes a HUGE difference, it could very well fix those issues.

I put in a luk clutch kit and a new throw out bearing by National. I use the Redline fluid.

It is the master or slave. I would start with the slave.

The time now is 11:48 AM.
