Cleaning windows on a soft top?

What do you use to clean your plastic windows on your soft top?
Thanks
Brian

I've used the 'Mr. Clean' spotless car wash system. It attaches to your hose and does a damn good job. My neighbors have come over and asked, What do you use to get your cars so clean?!

I have to admit, I was surprised with how well it works. Of course, I scrub it down pretty well with the supplied mitt, but you can't argue with the results.

I just clean mine inside and out with window cleaner after a wash. Be sure to get all the mud/dirt/sand off or it will scuff the surface making it very difficult to see out while looking into the sun.

Meguiers (sp?) ScratchX. Picked it up at advance auto and it worked wonders on the soft top windows...........don't take out the major scratches, but it does get rid of all the smaller ones. It also cleans all the crud off of them at the same time. Definitly worth the money. (under 10 bucks)

I use Meguair's PlastX (or ScratchX forgot the name) Plastic Polish. It cleans and polishes. It worked really well on the windows taking out most of the small scratches. Also as a side note I used it on my taillights and it made a HUGE difference. I didn't know how dirty they really were.

No kidding ^^^ Great minds think alike.

Lemon Pledge and a soft polishing cloth.

If you tape off the canvas part you can use a flitz ball and buff out any scratches along with cleaning the windows. You just have to do a good job on taping off the canvas because any of the plastic polishes will stain the canvas.

x2 on the lemon pledge and terry cloths. I did it yesterday for the second time. What a difference! And cheap! The furniture wax basically just fills in the little scratches, not the big ones.

NEVER use regular window cleaner on a soft top.

NOVUS is the way to go.

Overtime using regular window cleaner is going to dry out, crack and turn your windows yellow Also never use petroleum based products like armor all and such on the soft top and windows. I learned all that the hard way on my old YJ.
