clayton long arm vs Rubicon Express long arm

can any body give me comparative notes and pros and cons of both kits (5.5)..they both look very similar...

i know that the clayton kit comes with a lifetime warranty against bending and breakage...its also about $300 cheaper...

Installation procedures should be followed closely.
If you are comfortable with welding go for it. Other wise a shop will probalby charge significantly more than $300.

I've had both. The basic kits both use front radius arm designs but Clayton's basic kit uses a 4 link rear.

I got good service out of my RE until I bent a rear LCA. It didn't put the Jeep down, but that was enough for me.

I installed the Clayton rear 4 link RE conversion. Goodbye rear trackbar and RE rear arms. That was better.

Then I took the rig to Clayton's shop and had him install a 4" rear stretch and replaced all the remaining RE components with Clayton components. That's better yet.

Now, if we can only get him to work out a nice 3 link front design........

Seriously, if yoiu have a buddy who can weld, don't even think twice. Get the Clayton kit.
