Can I use Mercedes 5W30 Low Ash SAPS Engine Oil MB229.51 Fully Synthetic in my Jeep??

I got few liters left of Mercedes Benz 5W30 Low Ash SAPS Engine Oil MB229.51 Fully Synthetic from my Mercedes ML diesel engine oil and just wonder can I use it for my Jeep TJ 4.0???
Can I damage engine or something like that???
any issues???

I would think it would be ok, especially in cooler temps, as with any 5/30.

Your Jeep may developed a taste for the champagne instead of the beer it's used too.

Sure though that's fine but it's also a more expensive motor oil than the engine will benefit from if you plan to use it on a regular basis. Personally I'd rather run a conventional 10W-30 there in London where it doesn't get that cold.

When you have a choice, buy American made.
