Cam Shaft Position Sensor?

Well my jeep has had trouble starting. Normally takes 2-3 turns of the key to get her cranked.

I replace the fuel regulator/check valve thing. That didn't work.

So now all of a sudden the check engine light pops on. The jeep is an '02 with a I6 and Auto tranny.

I took it to the auto zone to see what codes were coming up and I can't remember the code but he said is was showing the "Cam Shaft Position Sensor" as the issue.

A) What is this and is an expensive part

B) Is it a hard job?

I think the Jeep knows I am going to trade her in on a new one.

Any help would be appreciated, because you know the stealership is going to kill me on my trade if there is a check engine light on.

Simple job, not expensive and located on top by 2 torx screws and a plug, where the distributor would normally go.

I use to have a company car, now I took a job where I have to commute and my jeep is mostly built for off road comforts, not commuting comforts.

I am going to miss it.

I know I am a noob on this but where the heck would the distributor go? A picture would be great if possible.
