BL and MML no sweat

Ordered jks 1.25" bl and budget mml. Got them yesterday at 3:00 had the BL installed by myself in 47 minutes. Been searching for mml install tips read some pretty bad horror stories. It was easier than the BL took me and a buddy 45 min to install and yes we had to grind bolts on both sides it is a no sweat deal. Dont see how it takes some people so long to do. If you need some help give me a shout. I have on 05 rubi unl 3.5 in RE 1.25" bl and mml will get pics up soon I hope.

338,

Sounds great ! I have read a number of horror stories, and NONE as good as yours !

How is your transfer case mounted? And did you get any vibes? I am looking to do basically the same upgrade on an 06 Rubi LJ and am not sure how much I have to do... Have you or are you doing a TT?

Plan on a TT but not yet I had no vibes with just the RE lift. Wanted to run 35 trail and 33 street so went with a bl and mml still no vibes. Also have no vibes in the motor with budget mml and no body vibes from the JKS BL.

When you are used to superduties and ifs chevies a jeep is like a 4 wheeler. And it also seems like everything for jeeps fits without modification.

You just got lucky. There are A LOT of things that can go wrong when installing a BL/MML... especially if you work yourself.

i had a similar experience with 2000 about a year ago.

"studying" the write-ups made all the difference for me. Knowing where to look for bolts and procedures. there's little if any guess work involved. Gotta love projects like that. The ones that give us enough confidence to try something stupid in the future ( like gears ).

Newer vehicles are always easier to work on especially if you live in an area that salts the roads.

U will have to remove a 1/4" of the factory bolts on the factory mm. That 175 is the contract price most people stick to it.
