Also, throw in some Grand Cherokee seats - they bolt right in! Will cost you nothing from a junkyard.

Believe these were from a 99. Im sure any will really fit as you use your own base.

They also had the power stuff below, so my drivers seat actually has the power controls on the side for the seat. All I had to reuse was my own brackets.

They are quite comfy, day and night difference between the stock TJ seats.

Take a look at my build thread, I have a few more pictures of the seats installed in the Jeep. Best part, they cost me $50.

They do sit a little lower in the TJ once you mount them up, but install a few washers on the base to raise it and all is good.

Up to 04 Grand Cherokee seats will fit in the Wrangler. 05+ are different and too wide. Also The Grand Cherokee seats only bold directly to 97-02 seat bases. 03-06 seats bolt different to the base.

Ah you could be right, I wasn't aware of this.
My seats are fairly close to the rollbar but not enough to obstruct it.

The only difference I have is I don't have that pull tab on my seat to tumble the seat instead I have to use the one below the seat to make it tumble.
