Early explorers used a return. You can tap into the filler neck and add a return. Will help with running rich because the jeep uses higher fuel pressure

Sounds like you're dealing with a later model but for the CJ owners I mounted my ecm in the same location as the one that it came out with. The bracket is almost a perfect fit.

I have been planning on a 5.0 swap in my yj for about a year. I had actually lost the love for the whole idea deciding that the 2.5/ ax5 was great for everything 45 mph and under. I started thinking about it again and found this thread. I am all in at this point. Hands down the best information thread on the subject I have ever found. Thank you to Amos for allowing every to share their own for the good of the whole. I have a complete maf roller 302 in a 1994 van that runs and is complete. $100 bill. I also have my old wagoneer. It has a 20k mile tbi 350 mated to a 5.61 nv4500 mated to a 4.3 atlas 2 speed that is practically brand new. The 350 is for sale. I am torn between the nv4500 and an ax15. I will probably use the atlas because it's here and paid for. This project will take place this winter. I have lots of ideas I want to bounce of you all. Today I just wanted to announce my presence.

There is still quite a few good pictures on here Amos.

My first decision to make is critical to the way a I look at the entire end result. Ax15 or nv4500.

I currently own a good rebuilt nv4500. It came out of a 95 chevy 2500.

Ax15's are affordable but I do not own one currently.

This jeep will remain nice so floor cuts matter to me.

I would appreciate some input here. All opinions are welcome.

My project got delayed again. I am definitely using an ax15. My immediate question is about the slave cylinder. Unless I read something wrong somewhere, Amos you're using the f150 slave with the tj master cylinder. Am I correct there? Everything else I can find and read says there's not enough throw on the f150 slave due to it's larger diameter bore. I'm all ears. Chris
