42rle tranny cooler lines

Please ID the in and out lines at the tranny or the rad.
Hard to believe my search did not find the answer. Lots of reading.
Thanks, PaulW

upper line is out to cooler, lower line is in from cooler. trace them to the radiator and you'll know which one to cut for an aux cooler.

The way I id' them when I put the remote filter in was to disconnect them from the radiator and tie a garbage sack round both of them, then I quickly fired up the engine, shifted into and out of neutral and shut the engine down. The bag with all the fluid in it was the send line... Simple, you'll need to top up the tranny fluid anyway when putting in a radiator, this way you just need to add about a pint more.

42rle ??

Second question
Is there a port on the 42RLE for a gauge sender or do I need to use the cooler line or a weld on bung in the pan. All my other off road rigs have a pan bung, but it sure is a lot of effort.
Thanks, PaulW

Not that I know of... But a quick googling turned up this, you can splice it into the rubber transition line.
