Is a 2006 TJ Transfer case a direct bolt in to a 2000 TJ

I have a 2000 TJ 4.0 auto.
I want to add a SYE, I found a Tcase from a 2006 TJ auto with a SYE already installed that is less expensive then just the SYE kit.

So I could buy this one and probably sell my stock TC to recoup some of the expense.

It there any differences that prevent this from being a direct bolt in ?
Is the speedo and 4x4 indicator light all the same ?

Input gear is only potential difference. I forget if 42RLE and 32RH are the same. Check the table on Novak's website.

I think it is auto vs stick and what year, the latter is longer input gear but X2 on checking input gear. You can tell right away by looking at how much it sticks out the front face of the TC. Also Novak's guide is not 100% correct, they have the AX-15 in the short input but early models (at least my 98) was a long input.
And for OP you can't necessarily swap input gears as the ring gear tooth cut varies. I think you would be fine if you had to but going from a early 90 to 98 which mine was doesn't work.
(See post 48/49 for what I found)
