2000 TJ OEM Fuel Pump

I am looking to change the fuel pump on my 2000 4.0 Sport. Can someone tell me a reliable OEM option for this? Is Delphi the pump of choice? My jeep currently stutters on acceleration with a lower price ($70 - $80), after-market pump, and I am ready to pay the price of a good pump.

OEM is used to identify Original Equipment Manufacturer, ie jeep, part from jeep dealers.

The techs here will suggest BOSCH and I respect that claim.... the guys are that good

My curmudgeon mindset
Bosch is the manufacturer of fuel pumps for jeep - my 45years experience has taught me its not necessarily the same specs, yes two build lines 2 different go, no go tools.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

I recommend Bosch as well, however on my 95 ZJ I have a Delphi. Bosch discontinued the unit for it, so I went with Delphi from Rock Auto. That was 6 years ago and it's still going strong. I may end up having to go Delphi again as the fuel pump on my 99 TJ is difficult to find. It's not acting up yet except for the fuel pressure regulator, but sometimes the gauge is a little off, too.

My Delphi has been going strong for almost 5 years now, sometime you need a pump right away and 2 or 3 days shipping is to long for the Bosch.

If you come to a fork in the road take it.
