The ''00 4.0L will have the "Y" down tube but won't have the two mini catalytic converters. It will also have an 02 sensor right in front of the catalytic converter and another O2 sensor behind the converter, both mounted in the exhaust pipe.
Keep in mind that free advice can frequently be worth less than you pay for it.

My Sport is an 03/2000 Colorado Jeep without the mini cats. I've seen 2000 4.0L TJ's with the mini cats (california builds)...
Gone but not forgotten.

The OP is in NJ so CA emissions laws probably don't impact him.

Hello Guys,
I just bought a TJ 2001, and have those mini cats, there is anything good or bad if I eliminate them? Im in Colorado, I like the combination of the Magnaflow universal Cat with the Flowmaster Super 44 and im trying to figure if I can eliminate those mini-crap from there, maybe gain some performance?
Actually, for some reason the Flowmaster website only shows a 60 series available for TJ 2001 which I dont understand why, the Jeep is 2.25 center in x offset out, they sell a Super 44 in that configuration, so why apparently the dont sell a super 44 for my TJ? I checked on Amazon, 4WD and other online stores and apparently there is not a Super 44 model for a TJ 2001.

I own a Jeep and Love Guns, and some people still can't figure out why I'm always broke!
