Autopark

Put it in reverse, hang out the door and see where you are backing into. Old school. Not so fast.... Mama Jeep slams it back into park.

VERY annoying.

How does one disable this?

Mmm...I hope there's an answer to this issue. Getting a Rubicon and probably have the same issue.

Disconnect the drivers door harness (like you were taking the door off). Of course that also disables the overhead light, etc. but it will stop the nanny from activating.

That's is common on the ZF eight speed auto. Otherwise it is a great transmission. Use your back-up camera.

Buckle the belt behind your back or buy a "seat belt extension"

I use my mirrors after this happened to me twice in one day...
