Probably this, it's the one tool IMO that just can't be replaced when you need it. And it has to be a Snap-on, because of the 30 & 60 degree offsets. The other brands have 15 & 60 degree offsets, which means you're only getting half a wrench - the open end on a combination wrench is a 15 degree offset so why buy another with the same offset?

And this because it's the ballsiest 1/2" drive impact gun I've ever used. Since getting mine about 4 or 5 years ago my 3/4" gun has only come out to remove truck pinion nuts.

1/2" impact drive gun - as stated above. Although not the same gun, its just a cheapo air gun, it has been invaluable.

4.5" grinder, and a air cut off wheel - I couldn't tell you how many times I've used the two of them during my rebuild. The grinder can use wire brushes too!

My favorite tool in my arsenal by far has been ratchet box wrenches. Like this, but the whole set http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00942483000P

gonna have to be the Snap On 1/2 cordless 18V impact gun. Works wonders with the Jeeps. Just about get to everything you need for the basics. Of course I could add in the torx bits, multi meter and test light, but this has made my life alot easier for the most part.

You beat me to it... I dont think there was a time when I worked on my CJ without the use of a BF'nH. Especially knocking off the 30 year old rust! Other than that, I can't live without gear wrenches to get in those tight places!

My St. Paulie Girl bottle opener with the upgraded superglued magnet to stick to the garage fridge. Works wonders!

Oh yeah, I also like the breaker bar and bench vise for their multiple, practical purposes.

Too many Jeeps to count....

A pair of vice grips and channel locks...also my cheapo mapp gas cylinder

Vice grips to use when you strip a bolt/nut....channel locks for bending edges of 16 gauge sheet back to where its supposed to be...mapp gas, just because when you need hea, its right their in a cylinder.

I second the big hammers for the same reasons as stated above...oh and ratchet wrenches....I can make a BIG list.

A Jeeper for life

My 5hp Bel-Aire air compressor. Can't imagine restoring a Jeep without it. It drives all the workhorse tools: impact wrenchs, ratchets, chisels, cutters, drills, sanders, grinders, paint guns, and has enough left to blow off the dust and rust when I am done.
