What would you pay?

I've put an offer on this 1979 CJ7 Renegade, and the seller is ready to let it go. It has a 258 with a T150 transmission. Powertrain condition-unknown. Body is pretty good besides some rust at both door pillars and a hole in one front fender. It has no doors or top. Overall, it's in pretty rough condition and will require quite a bit of work to make something out of it. I'd say it's a good platform for a project though.

That's about all I know about the Jeep. With that info and the pics below, what would you offer on a CJ like this?

I would start at 1k cash and go from there. That's what prices are here I've seen 1 to 7 k.

I tried to get seller to name a price. She wouldnt do it.

I'm getting it for $1000. I think that's probably a fair deal. It has some chrome Oem wheels on it in pretty good shape that I'd sell right away.

Good price IMO. I would be very happy paying 1K for that.
