Ha ha, reminds of prepping my CJ for Pennsylvania Classic Car tags back in 2011. Had to take bunch of pictures so the DMV could determine if it was actually stock looking or not. One time registration for life but must get inspection every year but annual emission testing is not required.
Had to buy stock size tires from Costco, 3 of them, and mount an rotate them around as we took pictures. It worked though, got the tags for life.

Good thing they didn't see the extra ground bar you mounted on the firewall

Should be getting a set of 39" BFG red labels for it before too long. Going to be a game changer. 😉

The install looks great. What was the cut bent up metal in the third picture? Does the CJ7 tailgate fit the opening of the YJ without being modified?

Don't let your wife know you don't need nuts! You'll never get them back!

Went on Craig's list looking for a back seat, found one out of a yj in good shape for$35 ..... drove 45 minutes with my toddler to snag it. The gentleman was late and felt bad. He gave it to me free, said it wasn't about the money . Just didn't want to throw it away. Score! Only downside is it is grey loth and my buckets are black vynyl. So a seat cover or dye may be in order.

Started some body work on the YJ tub. I'm no body man, but in 10 minutes I took the back corner from "WTF?" to "that'll do." A little seam putty and paint and you would have to look hard to see it.

Every 20 minute job is just one broken bolt away from a three day ordeal.

I did the yj tub swap. The opening does not have to be modified but you'll have to transfer over and weld or bolt in your latch brackets and install nut brackets on the underside of the tub for the hinges
