Make it 10!

I'm in for a black CJ7 Safari top. Would be perfect for helping keep the sun off the baby in the back seat.

You can count me in. I was really interested when Chris initially posted some time ago and was bummed when I searched later to place my order and he had disappeared.

I'd prefer Saddle color but would be happy to take a black/denim/sail/whatever.

Can't remember what top hardware is necessary/best for the safari top. I understand the OEM top hardware is not the best.

Anyone know?

Looks like marine bimini top hardware would work well (and be easy to source)

Maybe they can send you a swatch.

If you could get these measurements i could measure my top and see if it might possibly would without modification.

I think the might need to be a bar from side to side for the back corner of the top to bend around.

Chris I'd be happy with either style top I can get but the Safari would be my first pick and the nutmeg color, black is fine too.

That nutmeg is seat material with a very soft and fluffy white backing. I don't think that upholstery material is used for tops. Chris?

Hi Chris, I'm glad to see all the interest in your product, and really hope you can get back into production soon!

To clarify my vague request above, I'd like to request a black safari top for a CJ7 AND a Black 'Bikini'/'Bimini'/'Half' top for a CJ8. So, I'm actually in for two tops once you get rolling.

So, with the addition of Nuener's request and my 'second' top, I think that's a total of 12 requests so far.

Once things settle, let me know what information you'll need as well as if you will require a deposit!

Upholstery material would work only for trail ride and less than ~30 mph.

I tried it on some prototypes and it stretches (balloons) at highway speed and comes out of the windshield track.
