I'd also like to 'pre-order' a black (not-denim) top! Unfortunately, bh10's top above was tan and wouldn't work for my application-

Thanks!

Yes it is....it's $50 a yard NOS material called nutmeg denim which is what came on my 84 CJ7...bought about 6 yds to do all three seats and a roll bar cover. Unfortunately I don't have enough material for a Bimini. ..so would need another two yards.

If not you could cruise ebay. the saddle color i had was close but in no way a perfect match.

Congrats on the second little one!

The thread was Tenara from gore industries, a mono filament PTEF thread. I had a feeling it would not stay put forever. Just to slippery to lock a stitch.

Sorry it failed. It the repair place just stitching over the old seam? Ask them to use polyester, Nylon will be eaten by the UV.

No worries. It was a prototype. That's what prototypes are for. I told them the deal with the thread and left it up to them on how to repair it. I believe, they're going to take the entire seam apart and re-sew it. I'll find out when I pick it up, what they did.
I'm back in Colorado and the Jeep is now stored in the garage. No more AZ sun frying it to a crisp.

Earth first... We'll Jeep the other planets later.

Put me down for a pre-order Black safari non denim but do let me know how much $ to set back for you, I missed where the cost was posted? if it was.

I would prefer a hot pink version though , but im happy with black and the ability to support a "real jeeper". 1976 CJ 7 is target vehicle, will need install directions for my shop guys.

Thanks!

this is my YJ bestop bikini that's getting a little worn out these days ...I'd like a YJ safari top (that uses the bar for attachment. Anyway, you can see the family bar there. mounts to the same points as the OEM CJ bar, and the measurements are the same as the YJ as far as tops go.
