If you're keeping the wheels, put new original tires on it. Let the next owner decided what to do from there. If you're replacing the wheels, put on something that makes it look good, maybe some 31" BFGs or similar. Then include the original wheels in the sale so the new owner can put them back on if desired.

Put some new oe size tires on the existing rims. They will cost less as they are smaller lowering your roi and since the jeep doesn't have fender flares they will look better than going to a 31.

"The original wheels are narrow and I have the original hubcaps. Should I keep these just as they are and mount new tires on them or should I stash them aside and get new wheels and tires?"

Buy some stock size tires... 7.50R16s or 7.00R15s... Yer selling it. Don't buy any more than you need to. New rubber yeah. New rims???? You have some insight into what the buyer likes??

Also.. roll into any shop on stock rims and tires and the guys will be out drooling over your find... Maybe wanting to buy it. Bastardize it with after market chinese ****... they will be drooling over the $$$$ you seem ready to spend. And be more interested in milking the profits.
