Anyone know someone that runs rear steer? I found a dana 60 with 6.17's. 35 spline in and out. If I could get it bought right I'm thinking about buying it. Pros our cons?

that shifter looks like mine and i did the same thing. i left the body and chopped the handle down to nothing and no i can go thru the gears without anything stopping it. like beserk said its good for slamming thru the gears, like going into reverse fast to keep from rolling.

rear steer's great im doing a 9'' rear as we speak. but theres also alot of extras. eather a seperate eletric pump for the extra cylinder or runing it off the pump on the motor. if yo do that you will need somthing that can handle the extra volume and another valve ( a 50/50 splitter ) to switch it from crab to tight steer, jason.

1993 YJ 4.0 60 Front, Rear steer 60, bolth spooled, 5.38's, 700r/241 39.5 iroks and beating it like it owes me money.

And on the 8th day, God created the 14 bolt...

Doors are staying with the rig. No need to get rid of them. I'm a huge fan of steel doors

I've got another front GM 60 sitting under a tarp in the backyard. I also picked up a whole Howe full hydro setup.. pump, steering valve and dual ram. When I get around to doing the setup, I think I'm just gonna spring for the Longfields and use drive pucks. I drive pretty aggressively and would worry about rear ujoint breakage with regular joints.
