Thoughts Warrior Half Steel Doors?

Hey guys,
I have a 1982 CJ7 and doing some restoration work to it. I am thinking about getting and painting steel half doors for the jeep.

However, I heard from a friend that these doors are after market and usually not good quality, people have bad experience with them with fit, look, etc.

The doors I am evaluating are the Warrior Steel half doors. Please see the uploaded graphic.

Can you give me your advice, thoughts and/or experience with the Warrior doors or other comparable steel half doors? What do you recommend?

Thank you!
Kristian

The only hard half doors to get are the factory doors from the 87 to 95 YJ. They fit great on the 82 to 86 CJ are will be far above any aftermarket doors you can get. Average price (in my area late 2019) is 300 to 600 bucks for a set in good, non rusted/dented condition.

Thank you for this. Is there a place or site that sells factory doors or is that through sites like eBay/Amazon from personal sellers?

Any original parts that are no longer being made will come from personal sellers on places like E-Bay, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, or folks in clubs. Sometimes you will see stuff in a salvage yard or pull -a- part place but more likely it will be from a jeep specific auto recycling place.
An internet search of YJ half doors on a CJ7 will show pictures of what you are looking for and the differences between the stock doors and the aftermarket versions.
