I was looking for something in my well organized junk box and found this:20210425_174030.jpg Can' remember where I got it.

a pair of long nosed pliers work when you do not have the correct spanner. If done carefully, there will be no damage to the bezel nut.

I know I know. But those long days of Quarantine and Mad Cow from the 90's along with climate change and retiring, what else could I do except surf the internet for something that sounded good at the time. By the way it works really well.

I always like to use the proper tool when it is available. I also like to be able to solve the problem without having to wait and order the special tool.

I got mine off ebay . In my opinion its a little safer than other things

1984 jeep cj7, 258 I6, rebuilt T176,rebuilt Dana 300, amc 20 , dana 30, 4.10's Trac-lok in rear , 4.10's detroit soft locker in dana 30, 2.5 inch bds suspension lift, 1 inch polyurethan body mount lift. Line ex. weber carburetor. factory tach. factory clock ,oem replacement speedomter cluster, and oil pressure gauge, factory volt gauge.
