swap ever type clutch to diaphragm

i'd like to put a diaphragm clutch into my CJ for the benefits of easier engage/disengage pedal action..i bought a kit but the throwout bearing won't fit my fork (t14 transmission). Can I continue to use my lever type/borg-beck throwout bearing with a diaphragm clutch or are they not compatible?

just trying to avoid getting it installed and finding out my clutch won't release properly because the lever type throwout bearing is too thick or something..

no..i want to change from a lever type, or "borg & beck" coil spring clutch to a "diaphragm" bellville spring clutch..can i use my existing throwout bearing? cause the diaphragm one won't fit my clutch fork..so i can i just use my existing throwout bearing that fits? or do i need a different height one, and accompanying clutch fork.
