Spotted this CJ at Wally World today

I saw this CJ at Walmart today. It's not the style I'd pick for a CJ, but it was nice to see a CJ in person. They're of course pretty rare around here. At first glance it looked pretty clean, had great paint, and wasn't rusty.

The dashpad is interesting. It would be nice to have bigger speakers or more than just one speaker in my case.

Yep, I don't think I've ever seen one like that.

Besides the dashpad and abundance of chrome, it look great. I'd put some more off-road capable tires on it and have fun.

Initially I would be a bit agitated if I walked out of Walmart and saw someone taking pictures, like that, of my Jeep.

I would rather have a tool I don't need, than need a tool I don't have.

Yup.

Not my taste, but someone has put some work into the old gal.

If you had to choose between World Peace and a Jeep, what size tires would you run?

Just kinda curious as to what the black thing is above the rear fender flare. An auxiliary tank maybe? If so where would you find room for it underneath?

Looks good, someone cares for it.

I often find ladies draped over the hood having their photos taken. One night I found a Russian under the hood!!! I think he was looking to buy it.

Could be a rubber bumper for the side mounted spare tire.
Or a base for a CB antenna.

I'm surprised that CJ-5's body styles are frowned upon.

I have some extra Haartz material - I'm thinking maybe I should have some covers made for my soft top bows like the Jeep in the pix.

I like it! if he is just doing some back country roads and trips to WalMart, then that thing is set up perfect.

With a great Jeep comes an empty wallet.
