Show off your CJ Paint Job

I am ready to start the project of painting my CJ5. I will definitely take lots of pictures before.during.after, but to get started I would like to see some good pictures on here to motivate me and give me ideas.

Not sure if I want to try a factory red or something different. Please post some pictures of your CJs, preferably red, so I can see some ideas. I am thinking red, maroon, black maybe.

Thanks all, this could be the most rewarding part of my rebuild.

Here's another Sebring Red (paint code 3B) that is original color for 1983-86.

Absolutely gorgeous Keith. When is her maiden restored voyage supposed to take place?

Just beware, despite popular opinion, de-chroming your Jeep will not make it climb Everest, ford the Pacific, out run John Force, crawl up the side of the Grand Canyon, tow D-11 dozers out of the mud or even start every time for that matter. You need hi-steer for all that...

That stuff is great (just don't use the florescent green.) I used Tan.

Beat it to fit, paint it to match!
