Selling Jeep Cj7 limited edition wheels

Hey guys, I have a set of Cj7 limited wheels with beauty rings and center caps that came off my 1982 Cj7. 15"x7". I have a complete set of 4 with spare wheel. I honestly have no idea what they are worth and curious what's the going rate. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know what they are worth, but I might be interested. Where are you located?

I can't tell in the picture, what color are the wheels painted?

Those appear to be black standard D ring wheels with deep dish beauty rings.

I think they are OEM wheels, but not sure they are from a CJ Limited. The Limited came in four colors (Olympic White, Silver Mist, Slate Blue, or Copper Brown) and the wheels matched the body paint.

Interesting anyone would remove OEM Limited wheels from a CJ Limited. I think would seriously reduce the value. Also a Limited wheels without the Limited Jeep are just OEM wheels painted another color.

You could be right. I'm definitely not an expert, hence why I asked the question. I was told by someone they thought they were limited. The Jeep was silver. Reason I took them off is because I was 16 when I bought the jeep and wanted to lift it and put on larger wheels, like most young and dumb 16 year olds.

Copy. You're probably right. Curious what they would be worth to sell since I no longer own the jeep.

I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio. Probably won't work out. Would still be curious to see what you ask for them.

When I said they appeared to be stand D ring wheels I didn't mean that they were worthless. The center caps are very desirable. If the wheels are not bent and the lug holes aren't out of round then the wheels are valuable to someone resurrecting a CJ or even just searching for original wheels. The beauty rings unless are marked "Jeep" will bring little added value. I paid $50 for four with a narrower dish at O'Reilly's.

Google will tell you what others are asking.

Depending on your market and their condition, anywhere from $50 to $100 per wheel. Selling everything separately may net you more.

There is a local guy to me who thinks his mixed match set of 5 white painted wheels (4 OEM and 1 non-OEM, 15x8, w/ drilled hub holes, no rings) were worth $700, several months later they are still for sale…now at $500. Yours should be 15x7.

The beauty rings cause a nice set of gouge marks in the paint…as seen on your far right wheel w/out the ring. The user either commits to the rings or never puts them on.

Brutus was originally Slate Blue. I have two sets of wheels, one I blasted and powdered coated and the second set I have left original Slate. Crazy I was able to find a second set of original Slate Blue. After some work, the gouge marks are no longer and hide well with powder coat.

Best thing to do is keep the wheel set, and start looking for another Jeep that YOU could put them on. You gotta admit, once the Jeep bug bites, the yearning never goes away!

Copy. You're probably right. Curious what they would be worth to sell since I no longer own the jeep.

Hi if you havenít sold these, Iím definitely interested in talking to you. I also have an 82 that I got recently that has some ďmehĒ aftermarket wheels, but Iím looking for the original look with original caps. Really wanted OEM chrome, but these would look good too. Thanks.
