I's easy to do the fronts first.
I should have used the term linings. Used to be and may still be on larger truck brakes the portion of the brake shoe that makes contact with the drum could be replaced thus reusing the metal portion of the brake shoe.

Been there done that.
I worked in my father in law's brake relining shop for about 7 months. Nothing bolted together, everything was riveted.
Absolutely THE dirtiest job I have ever worked.
