I did plug any hole that was threaded. I just rolled up newspaper and stuffed it in there. Hindsight, I probably could have skipped that and just run a tap later. If you plug the holes, pull the plugs before you totally cure.

A good way to plug them...little wad of painters caulk. It takes a long time to dry when it's a big wad.....easy to clean up.
