Thanks for the powermaster recommendation. Iím pretty clueless about alternators and I value your opinion.
I think I definitely want to go with an internally regulated alternator just because it seems simpler. Reading up on some of JeepHammers old threads for how I would need to re-wire in order to do so. The PO has the Motorola external regulator still installed and wired up, but itís possible it is not really in use based on what I found with the ICM.
