Does somebody know the thread size of a YJ shifter? Is it 3/8" 16 or 3/8" 24?

Someone suggested I put this in here. I made this from a cam that let loose in my flatty and broke into 4 pieces when the rod that let loose went through it.

94 V8 YJ, SOA, H1's, 37's, HP D44, D60, 4.88's, winch and some other goodies
1946 CJ2A, 225 V6, T98 D18, Warn OD, D30/D44. Dual winches mild lift & 34's

I took a granite rock from my first trip to the Rubicon. My intent was to make it into a shift knob, but I haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this weekend? The knob will bring back memories!

here is what I did. I just grabbed an old ash tray


glued the lid on so it wouldn't fly off


drilled a hole in the bottom


glued in a nut that fit the shaft


put a lock nut on the shaft first and screwed it on, all done, used stuff I already had, no cost.
