Never seen before Jeeping pictures and film!

My Great Grandfather was a member of the first ever Incorporated Jeep Club, the Yakima Ridgerunners, Inc.. He was also a very avid photographer and would take pictures, and even film, of everything he possibly could throughout his life. Luckily this also includes lots and lots of photos/film that include Jeeps!

We just recently started going through some of the film and photos (and there is tons of it) and started to covert it over to digital. It's very time consuming since all the slides have to be cleaned up because of scratches and what not, but we are slowly trying to get it all converted. And converting the film over to digital is expensive since we have to send it out, and just a 9min film cost around $40 to convert. We are currently looking into purchasing a machine to do the film conversions ourselves...

It is pretty amazing how different it was...no rollbars, no seatbelts, etc. We have a box FULL of film/video that has some really awesome stuff in it!

Those are some of the coolest pictures i've ever seen!! How old are these b/c they're incredibly clear.. and it's amazing that all those jeeps seem pretty much stock. Not even a lift kit or anything

I believe these pictures are from around the 1950's...they have all been touched up in photoshop by my father to help clean up any scratches and what not...Which is kinda the reason why we can't upload them all really quickly because it really is time consuming to get them all processed. But we will try our best to get some more up asap!

these pictures are amazing... they're so clear it looks like they were straight from a digital camera. kind of reminds me of when i go to landrover rally's with my friend, everyone there drives series landrovers and the photos look like they were taken 30+ years ago.
