A little help from my friends..... Radio diagram?

I bought an early 80's radio to put into my jeep but I cannot find any documentation on the wiring harness/connections. Can anybody help me out? I think this is out of a 83-85 CJ7.

I would guess the green, white and black wired plug is speakers. The orange, black and purple wired plug is power. And the tan wired plug is antennae.

But that's just a semi-educated guess.

Garage
A good closeup look at a wiring diagram would be the save way

Thanks. Not the right wire colors on that one. Anybody have this type of radio or is it from a AMC car perhaps?

You can try contacting Jeremy's Radio-emporium.com

He's on Comancheclub, but he has a lot of knowledge about AMC radios.

That radio is not out of a Jeep vehicle but other AMC car, possibly the AMC Concord or Eagle.

Gray wire = power antenna I believe but not sure

Orange = back lighting of dial
Black = (-) ground
Purple = (+) 12V switched power

Green wires = (+) right speakers front and rear
White wires = (+) left speakers front and rear
Black = (-) speaker negative
