How should this be installed?

Hello.

I have a part for my 1986 CJ7 I do not know where to be placed. Can anyone tell me where this should be installed?




1986 Jeep Cj7, 258CID, Dana300/30/44, Automatic, frame off 2010/11.

Not sure if i am right... but it looks like the piece that sits under where the carb canister sits... bolts to fender and firewall.... i could be wrong though..?

Yup, Looks like the splash shield for the charcoal canister.

That's what it is. Mine has a little extra notch cut out of it but you can see where it goes.
