Help with Contour fan switch

I have installed the Contour radiator fan controlled by a thermal switch. I also wired in a 3 way ON\OFF\ON SPDT switch so I can choose to have the fan controlled by the thermal switch, turn them off, or turn them on all the time. I wanted the ability to turn them off when having to do water crossings and what not. However I also want to have an indicator light light up when it is in the off position so I remember to turn the fans back on again. Seems simple enough however I can't seem to make it work. I know it is possible I just can't put my finger on it. Here is a schematic of how I have everything connected now. Thanks for any tips.

How i would do it is buy a double pole double throw switch and use one of the poles like your are saying to control the fans. The other pole use it to drive a 12v relay. You'd have to use the normally closed contact on the relay which will control your indicator light. At the switch put 12v on the (off) terminal. Then tie the two (on) terminals together and run that wire to the relay. So when you switch is in either (on) position it is providing 12v to your relay and the normally closed contact has opened and you indicator light would be off. And when your switch is off the relay is off and the contacts close and light up your light. Hope that makes sense. It would be easier to draw it but not sure how to do all that on the computer.

Yes, No? Have you worked on the fans?

That's a neat switch idea, but in the crowded dash on mine, it may be too small of a light to see. Especially when I jostling around.

The parts shop that stocks part for Skylab II will not have parts for our year/model of Jeep
