First time I have got her a little dirty.

The new OME springs really soak up the bumps and mine are the HD model springs.

Nice looking jeep.

And nice to see you crawling out in the wilderness instead of some mall.....

Now....start saving money so we can help you spend it on more mods.

BTW....if you have kids....jeeps make a great way to pull them away from computers and go camping...and rock crawling...and having good family time.

This was on Clemson 4 Wheel Centers Poker Run route. It was just some back roads in Clayton GA here, pretty mild stuff.

I'm in Easley now myself I need to look and see where some good trails are around us to try. I don't mind mild stuff and crossing some rivers etc mine is no rock crawler though. Never been into that really, too much damage.
STJP likes this.

weider......I think you would be shocked at what your rig will do in it's current condition. Mine was pretty much like that when I did the Dusy Ershim...I had to get winched in a couple of spots....no lockers and stock gears.

No damage to the jeep......well....at least, not the body.....

Sliced the sidewall of one tire on a rock....but that can happen in streams too.
Almost spun an axle (your 2-piece axles are a weak point....regardless of the off-roading you do)
Modified my gas tank skid pad so my gas tank was about half the capacity. (thank goodness the tank is plastic)

And I had one of the most wonderful off-road trips I've ever had. Trying to get some guys together to do it again next summer

Right, it will do all I want I'm sure. I have brand new Yukon 1 piece axles in the rear so the 35's are taken care of from that 2 piece axles you mention.

the lift is the OME 3-3.5" conversion kit from rocky road outfitters with a 1" body too. Also has quick disconnects for the sway bar.

Right, I need to beef up the front too. I assume I have 3.54 gears I know it's stock it does great with the 35's but to crawl it needs more gear.

3.54? Doubt it. It's either 2.73 or 3.31

Going to 4.10's or 4.56 would wake up your jeep

Above 3.7 you have to change carries anyway, so it's a good time to put in a locker.....one option is the Detroit Trutrac limited slip.....I think it would be a perfect locker for your driving.....and does not need the friction additive.
