Factory style swing out spare tire carrier reproduction

Hi everyone, i have a 1978' Jeep CJ7 that i am trying to restore it into stock condition. In this manner i need an factory style swing out tire carrier to put onto it. There is not any kind of stock spare tire carrier in my area, all off them custom made stuffs. So i decided to reproduce it from sheet metals and rectangular pipes. I have welding machines, press brakes, cnc plasma etc. So it won't be a big problem to do it. But i don't have any specimen nearby to copy some dimensions of it. Can someone share some dimensions of it as a blueprint or technical drawing or CAD or even hand drawing file. First 4 attachments are my jeep with custom built spare tire carrier that i don't like, last 4 are the factory spare tire carrier that i want to reproduce. Thanks a lot in advance.

How 'Restoration true' do you want it?

I think that the original uses studs on the hinges. Do you want to use studs?

Do you have a CAD program if someone sends you a DFX file? Or just a PDF printout?

I want my jeep as as stock as possible. Nevertheless PO had changed some parts such as hard door laches to the later 81’ 82’ version and i wanted to left them intact for now. Again PO had changed fender flares to the yj type, maybe i would change them back to the original type later. I will make this project as a personal hobby, leissure time activity. I am planning to make everything about what original tire carrier design has. Yes i have some CAD programs to open up dxf dwg sldprt step parasolid etc.

I literally just bought one off of ebay that should be arriving today for the restoration of my CJ7. When I get it in, I can try to get some measurements for you.

If you want the factory look I think paying the shipping and getting an original unit would be best. Unless you just want to build one yourself.

In fact having an original unit to put onto car is the best thing i can imagine, but i searched and i couldn’t find any in my country. This month i bought some parts from USA like A/C replacement parts and i paid 375 USD to UPS for A/C parts order from jeep air and 350 USD to FEDEX for other interior and exterior accessories order from quadratec. So i don’t want to pay 150-200-250USD to fedex to get steel stuff that i can make in my area. One last chance i can order just bracket stuffs from USA and make myself the straight carrier profiles and bring them together.

Which country are you in?

Those rates are murderous, they add 50% to everything I buy and then they want import taxes even on ancient used parts.

Advanced, I like the idea of getting just the brackets. Once those are in place, you should be able to fab a very faithful reproduction of the carrier itself.
