Electrical nightmare

Does anyone have interior wiring diagram for 83 cj7? Sure could use some help. In brief, all worked lights and gauges. Replaced all added radio, clock and tach. Replaced all switches.

Welcome!

http://oljeep.com/edge_parts_man.html has a TSM for 82 models. I doubt there is much change from 82 to 83 electricals.

I suggest you download the wiring manual from Painless Wiring. There's a bunch of good information there.

This is good advice. That manual is better than most FSMs.

Yeah, That's a pretty good read. I might have to 'borrow' parts of it...

Might as well, they permanently borrowed some pictures in the instructions that I took over the years from my CJ. Factory radio, underhood light and a few others.
