Is this the correct placement for the Fuel Filter

Hi Everyone, (Matt in particular),

Is this the correct placement for the fuel filter? I am trying to move it away from the manifold and make it parallel. At its closest point the line is 4 inches away from the manifold (not as close as it looks in the pic)

If not, if you have a picture on how it should look I would very much appreciate it. With the line going into the Carb being low it is difficult to get it much higher and make it parallel.

Thank you.

I might make the inlet hose a lot shorter and rotate the fuel filter so the return port is at the 12:00 position.

I think i have this right now, what do you think? I used a longer hose to the return and a shorter hose inbound to the fuel filter. Its up much higher now too.
