CJ7 Passenger Side Heater Fresh Air Vent Housing

I am currently working through a heater box refurbishment via the very good thread on this site. I am looking for a replacement for this assembly or a good replacement flapper assembly. I've checked Fleabay- none currently posted. Have a couple of feelers out to the only used parts dealer I could find- JWJeep, Mr CJ's, Collins Bros but have not heard back. Does any one have either one of these or specifically the flapper assembly that they would sell or an you refer me to additional used parts sources?

What's wrong with the one you have? Just take it out, clean it up and apply new adhesive backed foam.

The flapper assembly has been previously repaired- welded very badly. The control arm is broken off and spins on the shaft.

Tracking this thread.... mine is also rusted and broken. Just need the pin or shaft that goes through the air flap. I gave Rudy's CJ a call and waiting for a call back. I'll ask if they have 2 and let you know. http://www.rudys-cjs.com

@JeepinBusy They have at least 2. Give Rudy a call at 614-203-1947. He said he's going to close up shop for the summer here in about a week, just FYI. good luck!
