CJ7 Dash Indicator Lights

When I got my 76 CJ7 there were no dash indicator lights (the small rectangles that say Air, Temp...). The lights wiper and fan motor where all obvious put I'm not sure what the order is for the row of four with the fan speed at the top. I have the Defrost, Temp and Air.

Could somebody check their's and reply with the correct order for a 76 CJ7, which might be unique I know I can get cables for 77 up but not the 76.

Thanks!

I might be wrong, but I don't think those have changed much over the years.

Lights are left of the steering wheel.
Wipers are to the right of the wheel.

Starting from the top of the four remaining...

Fan
Air
Temp
Defrost

Guns don't kill people... Bad trail spotters do.

76 looks a little different
The Air and Defrost locations are reversed.

This is from my 76 Owners Manual.

76 CJ's had a different heater system.

Kieth, is that for your 84 CJ?

Yes, or was. Doesn't look like that at the moment but it will again. Are you talking about the dash or the Aviator that I change from time to time? The aviator is a scanned picture from the 1984 Jeep CJ dealer sales brochure.

I was talking about the dash but I did notice your avitar also. Cute dog.

I was asking because the owners manual for my 76 shows the controls in a different order than the 84 dash. When I swapped in the 84 heater into my 76 I used the 84 layout.
