Awesome CJ7.
Where'd you get that top? Is it custom?

What kind of adhesive are you using on your tires?

Sorry I've been talking on JeepCentral. In that pic it still had the spring over axle lift. PO flipped springs but didn't adjust driveshafts or anything else so it's now back at stock ride height. Tires are 31's right now. The adhesive? Oh right...they're old Mickey Thompson's so decent grip on ceilings.

I can't think of a good signature...

Been awhile since I've updated on here. The old girl keeps getting bigger and badder than ever.

It’s been a while for me, but here are pics of my 86 Renegade and my Dads 82 Limited. His Jeep is bone stock and mine is mildly modified.

81 Scrambler

Our 1981 Scrambler. Frame-off restoration. Our first CJ (after multiple TJ/JK and a few Cherokees). Probably our favorite. I'm sure someone will point out the incorrect stripes . The PO did that. Otherwise, mostly original with a few newer comforts like HEI, Weber and AC (which we'll be ditching because the doors are never on her.) Also have a newly acquired 85 Renegade, but like most non-first children, the photos are lacking.

After owning and driving my 1985 CJ-7 for about nine months, I figure it’s time for an update. I have put about 10k miles on it, 2k miles from the first four days, when I drove it from El Paso to NC, after I bought it. Pictures below From the cross country trip, El Paso to NC.

Over the last ten months I have done normal maintenance, front end alignment, overhauled the WW system, replaced the heater blower motor, replaced the WP, and drove it to work daily when possible (topless all summer). I replaced the OEM Bucket seats with new Rugged Ridge seats from Craigslist. I sourced a hardtop and steel doors from Craigslist as well. I removed the front bumper mounted tow-bar and light protective screens. I’m trying to make it look like a stock Jeep. It gets 15 MPG with the Howell GM style Throttle Body fuel injection, and has been pretty reliable, especially for its age.

The old 252 is going to be replaced with a rebuilt 1995 Jeep 4.0 (bored & stroked to 4.7) inline six with OEM style multi port fuel injection. Twice the power, improved fuel economy out of a Jeep motor designed to be in a Jeep with minimal mods, that sound like the best way to have my cake, and eat it too.

Red face '85 that just showed up!

First post here, hello all!
This was my wife's first vehicle and has been sitting in an alley in Florida for 25 years, just got it shipped out and running. Still working on the brakes, then the power steering, hopefully it will pass emissions. Going for a stock safe driver for now, hopefully restore over time. Oh yeah, and it will get a snow plow for the winters. Can't figure out how to rotate the pic
