M* or CJ*, still the Jeep model, just different versions of it. The two versions were intertwined throughout the 45 year history/run of the Jeep.

The end of a defining era.... JEEP R.I.P. 1941-1986
My frame off Re-Build: (the 4 year saga....)

My first CJ. Base model, AMC 4cyl, T5 tranny, 300 transfer case, AMC 20 rear, Moser 1 piece rear axles, diy hei GM style distributor, added power brakes with dual booster, 50 cal ammo can center console free from work, about to add stock power steering, 31 once tires with no issues. Hard and bumpy as hell to drive but the most fun I've had in years.

Yes, they seemed to have dropped the ball on this one. It can't be that everyone just stopped having Jeeps for entries. I'm not sure who the mod is for it.
And it's kind of a bummer for me since I had to wait 4 1/2 years to finish mine before I could enter and it stops prior to the finish. Maybe we should just use the thread to post pics, without any contest tied to them. But I guess we have the "Let's see them" thread for that.

Beserk was running this one.
Maybe we should turn it into a 2017 Calendar submission.
