Well, if it didn't matter than this thread would be a moot point, me thinks. I can't say for sure, but I feel pretty confident that his stock Jeep isn't going to win this month's CJOTM contest. I also feel confident that the "Judges", as a criteria for winning this monthly event, consider the amount of effort it takes for an individual to return a rust bucket back into original condition. Sometimes a classic, bone-stock Jeep, IS the best.

You sound like your pouting.

Pouting ? OK it did sound pouty , not trying to put down or ignore the restorations some of them are really impressive and are probably put together better than the factory , I just rarely see a really custom built rig win this.
I did go back again and take a quick look at the past winners thread and there are a few cool custom jeeps but the majority seem to be stock with a few bolt on's and some chrome bling ,seems like bling wins and that's just disappointing.

I rarely see anyone win this anymore! There hasn't really been a contest or winner for a year now. What's happening to us as a whole community???

The end of a defining era.... JEEP R.I.P. 1941-1986
My frame off Re-Build: (the 4 year saga....)
