Cj Diesel

I saw a while back someone was talking about doing a Diesel swap in their CJ. I don't remember who posted the thread but a few people were interested. I was killing some time and ran across this engine. Looks like it would work, even has an NP435 already installed...

Well just thought I would share...

It was probably me with the original post about a diesel swap. Your instincts are good, the 3.4 cummins is the favorite with Jeeps but the performance is just horrible. They have many more diesels to choose from over seas, but it's more difficult to find anything around here. I have had to give up on the dream for now and wait till the new V6 diesels come out. They should weigh 1/2 as much, be much more powerful, fit better, cost twice as much , etc... Thanks for keeping a look out though.
