Bought another one (finally)

well, here's the quick back story (cut and pasted)

https://www.jeepforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=479941

flash forward a year or so, and it came up for sale again, so I jumped on it!

I don't have it home yet, it's still at my buddies house, but I transferred the title, and even took it around the block yesterday!

quick updated pic

stay tuned for more details

Hoss

Good things come to those who wait, eh.

Marching or fighting, it all pays the same.

zoom in, zoom in!

and a bit more info- turns out it is a 1968. all the other stats are the same. I'm waiting for a block of time to go through the brakes before I bring (drive) it home. right now they stop, but barely, and it pulls you along a bit as you sit (could be all the torque from the 225 )

Thanks so much guys, for the kind comments, and the support when I was 'without'.

(for the record, that was the longest dry stretch of jeeplessness I've been through, just over 6 mos.)

I'm pretty excited about this one. Truth be told, I think I enjoy the parts collection, tinkering, and build-up the most.

I do have a few more pic's of when we first found it:

as you can see, she sat out unprotected for quite awhile. not a Barret Jackson $100+K car, but there is just something about her...

the interior has been compltely cleaned out, and my buddy was kind enough to sort through some of the wiring while he had it, and throw a tune up on the motor (along with an oil change).

hopefully, I can get a few more recent pic's up for ya all. (and of course, keep you posted on the progress!)
