Anybody recognize these seats????

My new to me '81 has these seats front and back. They have the 'jeep' font in the vinyl. They're in really good shape. I've looked through the stock and aftermarket seats and haven't found them. More curious than anything. They fit like stock and fully function. The rear seat folds and flips up.

Yes, Jeep YJ seats from 1987-1990.

I have a set that I used to reupholstered in CJ black denim material. The seat and frames are the same type and part number used on Jeep CJ's.

Makes sense... Like I say they fit and function great. And i didn't think that an aftermarket would bother with the embedded logos. Thanks guys!

When you had the YJ seats apart for the reupholster job, was the YJ seat a stamped steel sheet metal structure like the CJ seats? I am asking if the YJ seat structure appears to be stronger than the CJ seat structure.

It seams Chrysler upgraded and improved various components of the YJ, so I am wondering if they improved the seat structure on the YJ seats.

Why do I own a CJ? I like to “Balance the wrench and the steering wheel”

Same stamped steel as the CJ seats for the early YJ's. I think the YJ's after 1990 became a little stronger when Chrysler added the side bolster to the seats but can't say for sure.
You could probably find out more detail info on the YJ forum.
